Job Summary
Sanyo Seiko is seeking a mechanical design professional to handle medical devices and optical equipment. You will be responsible for mechanical design, specification determination, CAD drawing, and prototyping. The role allows you to focus purely on design work as sales handle external negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and enclosure design for medical devices and optical equipment
- Create specifications, basic/detailed designs, and CAD drawings
- Conduct principle prototyping and collaborate on design meetings
Required Skills
- Experience in mechanical design
- Experience in design and development using SOLIDWORKS
- Experience in mass production prototyping
- Fluent Japanese (JLPT Level 1 or N1)

Job Description [Recruiting Mechanical/Mechanical Design Members to Product Managers] You will be responsible for the mechanical design and enclosure design of medical devices and other equipment. You will be responsible for meetings related to mechanical design, specification determination, document creation (specifications, procedures, etc.), basic design, detailed design, drawing creation using CAD, and principle prototyping.
[Job Description] As a member of the design department, you will be responsible for the mechanical design of our own medical devices and OEM products (mainly optical equipment) ordered from major clients. Since sales staff handle external negotiations, you can concentrate on design.
[Post-Employment Image] After introductory training, you will be assigned to a team. A training plan will be determined based on your experience, and senior employees in the department will train you to become fully proficient in approximately 3 months to 3 years.
[Future Prospects] We expect you to collaborate with external stakeholders, create specifications, and play a leading role in mechanical design.
[Product Examples] General industrial equipment such as optical instruments, proprietary high-temperature observation equipment/medical equipment, etc.
Working Hours 8:15-17:15 (Lunch break: 12:15-13:00, 45 minutes; Afternoon break: 15:00-15:15, 15 minutes)
