Automotive FAE US Assignment

Job Description ☆Would you like to utilize your experience at a global leader company supporting cutting-edge fields such as AI, automotive, and 5G? As a Field Application Engineer (FAE) for automotive parts, you will be responsible for the following tasks. *This position is an overseas assignment. After being hired in Japan, you will be assigned to our US office once preparations for overseas assignment are complete. ■Specific Job Responsibilities ・Technical support for the design and development departments of automotive Tier 1 customers ・Identifying technical challenges at the customer design stage and proposing technical solutions in collaboration with internal technical departments ・Initiating customer projects internally ・New business and customer development ・Supporting mass production launch in collaboration with technology, quality, and manufacturing departments *Business trips (approximately once every two months), mainly to the Detroit area 【Assigned Department】 Many friendly employees in their 20s to 40s work here. There are also events for expatriates. (Participation is optional) Working Hours 8:30-17:30 Job Requirements ■MUST Requirements - Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field (mechanical, electrical, etc.), or equivalent technical understanding - English communication skills (目安: TOEIC 700 or higher) - Basic MS-Office skills ■WANT Requirements - Knowledge of connectors, resin molded products, metal parts, or electronic components - Practical experience in the automotive parts industry - Practical experience with 3D-CAD (Solidworks) ■Desired Candidate Profile - Individuals who can take initiative in their work - Globally-minded and eager to take on challenges - Individuals with strong communication skills - Individuals who can identify problems and resolve them by involving stakeholders - Individuals who understand the unique quality and development processes of the automotive industry and can respond persistently English Level Daily Conversation Level (TOEIC 475-730) Japanese Level Fluent(JLPT Level 1 or N1) Other Salary Description Overtime pay: Fully paid Commuting allowance: Fully paid (for public transport/distances of 2km or more) Family allowance: 8,000 yen for spouse, 3,000 yen for child Housing allowance: 5,000 yen (for head of household as registered on resident registration) Social insurance: No additional information Retirement allowance system: Applicable to employees with 3 or more years of service Re-employment system: Available (up to age 65; retirement age: 60) Holidays Complete two-day weekend (Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays) Paid leave Bereavement leave Childcare leave Sick leave Job Contract Period full-time employee
