Logistics Operations Manager

Job Description: An international pet nutrition company is looking for a Logistics Operations Manager. The selected candidate will oversee logistics operations, manage 3PL partners, ensure quality and compliance standards, drive logistics transformation projects, and manage budgets while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: - Manage warehouse, transportation, and 3PL operations to ensure efficient inbound and outbound flows - Monitor logistics KPIs and implement improvement actions to enhance performance - Ensure inventory accuracy, product freshness, and compliance with quality, safety, and traceability standards - Lead logistics-related quality, food safety, and compliance activities across warehouses and logistics partners - Drive logistics transformation and optimisation projects in collaboration with local, regional, and global teams - Manage logistics budgets, forecasts, cost-saving initiatives, and sustainability investments Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or above - More than 5 years of experience in supply chain logistics management - Experience in ERP/WMS - Fundamental knowledge of logistics and import/export management, or strong willingness to learn - Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with 3PL partners and internal stakeholders - Proficient in Japanese and English Preferred requirements: - Experience in a 3PL or distribution centre - Experience in on-site improvement activities or process optimisation - Experience in warehouse tendering, relocation, or transition projects
