Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced iOS applications using Swift.
- Lead basic design (high-level design) efforts and guide implementation decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, backend, design) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement and maintain applications using MVVM architecture.
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and external data sources.
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability and performance.
- Identify and resolve bugs while improving application performance and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Engage in the full development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Work within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality releases.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years in Swift.
- Proven experience delivering iOS applications (at least one published app).
- Strong knowledge of iOS SDK, RESTful APIs, and JSON integration.
- Hands-on experience with MVVM architecture.
- Experience with CocoaPods and/or Swift Package Manager.
- Proficiency with Git-based version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Experience writing unit tests and working with testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Strong understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
- Business-level English (e.g., TOEIC 800+).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with push notifications and cloud messaging APIs.
- Knowledge of Apple's design principles and UI guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a multinational team and manage multiple tasks.
- Japanese reading ability.
