Hitachi Consulting's Global Business Team (GBO/GLO) is an organization that works with clients to determine what Japanese companies need to continue to win globally and accompany them through implementation. Your role can be broadly divided into two: rolling out Japanese initiatives to overseas bases, and rolling out global digital capabilities to Japan.
① Supporting rollouts to overseas bases (GBO)
You will act as a bridge between headquarters and overseas bases, building shared understanding of business strategies, business processes, and IT systems. You will deal with complex coordination, such as integrating processes after M&A and establishing global business rules.
② Supporting the domestic roll-in of global capabilities (GLO)
This involves supporting digital transformation, modernization, and AI utilization in collaboration with GlobalLogic. You will be involved in conceptualizing new digital services, examining UX/UI, designing business models, and managing agile development, as well as envisioning AI-driven business operations from PoC to application.
