US CFO Global Accounting

Job Description [Recruitment Background] The bitFlyer Group's US subsidiary is seeking a CFO to support its management and financial functions from Japan, in order to support future business expansion and strengthen governance. This position requires expertise in both Japanese and US accounting and taxation, and will be responsible for a wide range of management support, from financial strategy planning and execution to governance system development and internal control enhancement. We expect this individual to play a key role in supporting our global business development. [Job Responsibilities] ■ Overseeing and executing the financial and accounting operations of the US subsidiary ■ Preparing monthly and annual financial statements and consolidating them (including coordination with all group companies) ■ Handling accounting based on US GAAP or IFRS ■ Monitoring and reporting of cash flow, budgets, and cash management ■ Preparation of management accounting and financial analysis reports for management ■ Global coordination (coordination with relevant departments in Japan, the EU, etc.) ■ Improving the accounting and financial system and managing members Scope of Change: Possibility of reassignment to all functions. Job Requirements ■ Holds a USCPA (US Certified Public Accountant) qualification ■ Over 5 years of practical experience in accounting and finance (Accounting Standards: US GAAP or IFRS) ■ Business-level or higher English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) ■ Business-level or higher Japanese proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) ■ Experience in cross-border accounting work or working at/accommodating overseas branches ■ Skills in preparing financial and management reports Salary Description * Breakdown of monthly salary Basic salary: ¥493,256 - ¥1,048,169 Fixed overtime allowance: ¥173,411 - ¥368,498 (equivalent to 45 hours per month) * If overtime work exceeding the fixed overtime allowance (45 hours), as well as night and holiday work, occurs, statutory overtime premium wages will be paid in addition. * Performance bonus available separately.
