SRE Engineer Infrastructure

■ SRE Team Mission - Stable operation of cloud infrastructure supporting numerous welfare and education products - Efficiency improvement of infrastructure construction and enhancement of developer experience (DX) - Improvement of product reliability and standardization of operations - Planned transition to a two-tier system of Central SRE × Embedded SRE ■ Main Job Responsibilities - Design, construction, and operation of cloud infrastructure (AWS) using Terraform - Monitoring design including fault detection and capacity planning - Development and operation of development and testing environments - Development of common workflows such as GitHub Actions - AWS overall account design and management - Security and audit response, vulnerability countermeasures - OS/middleware updates and performance improvement - Planning and promotion of cross-product SRE initiatives ■ Future Themes - Separation and redesign of AWS accounts/environments - Full-scale implementation of SLI/SLO - Efficiency improvement of DB maintenance operations - Simplification of release flow and delegation of authority ■ Job Requirements - Experience in designing, building, and operating web service infrastructure on cloud platforms including AWS (2+ years) - Experience in configuration management, design, and operation using IaC such as Terraform/CloudFormation/cdk - Experience in designing and operating systems using container technologies such as Docker - Experience in building and operating CI/CD pipelines - Experience in designing, building, and operating monitoring environments such as Datadog and CloudWatch - Experience in developing and operating web applications ■ Preferred Skills - Experience in formulating SLIs/SLOs - Enabling SRE and Embedded Experience as an SRE - System design and operation experience - Deep knowledge of middleware (OS, network, storage, database, web) - Knowledge of cloud internal architecture, security issues, and software development experience ■ Work Style - Primarily remote work - Communication via Slack - Discussion and issue management based on GitHub Issues/PRs - Weekly refinement and planning for the SRE team ■ Holidays & Benefits - Complete two-day weekend system, national holidays - Annual paid leave, summer vacation, year-end vacation, maternity/childcare leave - Comprehensive social insurance, defined contribution pension, employee stock ownership - Transportation allowance up to 50,000 yen/month - Side jobs permitted, no mandatory retirement age - Discretionary Work System (8 hours)
