Job Summary
As a Senior Sales, you will manage B2B clients in the European market mainly, handling everything from travel program planning and client relation management to revenue optimization. As a Senior Sales , you will manage B2B clients in the European market mainly, handling everything from travel program planning and client relation management to revenue optimization.
1. Main Accountabilities
Client & Sales Management
- Design, propose, and quote custom tour itineraries based on client needs and budgets.
- Promote new travel products and update clients on destination/service trends in Japan.
- Set annual sales targets and contribute to team strategic planning.
- Analyze monthly conversion rates and follow up promptly on requests.
- Maintain accurate client data within company CRM systems.
Problem Solving & Internal Collaboration
- Coordinate with the Operations department to handle on-the-ground issues and client inquiries.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities.
New Business Development
- Collaborate with the Sales Team Leader on prospective client strategy and proposals.
- Collect and share market feedback with internal product and management teams.
2. Other Tasks
- Support the Sales Team Leader (training newcomers, backing up team members, generating reports).
- Attend weekly team meetings and ongoing skill development training.
- Join inspection trips and escort client FAM trips.
Job Requirements
[Requirements]
Language: Fluent level Japanese and Business level English (capable of professional negotiation and communication).
Experience: At least 2 years’ experience to above at the same position: Sales tour/Travel designer in inbound tourism in Japan with Europe clients is a MUST. Familiar with Sales B2B is a plus.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of the tourism sector, destination management, and hotel/tourism operations.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hotel, Tourism, Foreign Languages, Economy, or related fields.
