Job Description
The company provides cutting-edge online brokerage services to retail investors and is currently advancing the expansion and sophistication of its investment information systems. To respond to evolving market environments and diverse customer needs, the organization is seeking a Product Manager to lead the planning and execution of highly intuitive, value-added digital trading tools.
Your Role
Drive end-to-end product management for retail investment information systems from a user-centric perspective.
■About the Product
Specifically, you’ll be responsible for systems related to investment information and market data (such as stock prices and mutual fund net asset values) that users view after logging into the member portal. Unusually for the industry, the company develops this market data system in-house. While many securities firms rely on software from external vendors, in-house development enables the following:
・Greater flexibility in data utilization (faster trial-and-error for improvements)
・Easier horizontal deployment to other products (easier reuse of features and data)
・The ability to quickly implement improvements that directly benefit users
■Responsibilities
・Product planning and requirements definition, as well as the evaluation and promotion of next-generation systems
・Negotiations with external vendors, as well as contract management and progress tracking
・Coordination and collaboration with relevant internal departments (Planning, Marketing, Systems, etc.)
・Communication with and progress management of the development team (primarily composed of international members)
・Overall project progress management and quality assurance
■Recent Initiatives & Engineering Methodology
・AI Service Integration & PoC Initiatives: Conducting Proof-of-Concept (PoC) development targeting next-generation service deployment across AI-driven platforms.
・DevOps Operational Model: Executing parallel delivery through a modern DevOps model, concurrently managing multiple mid-scale initiatives (4–5 active projects) alongside ongoing system maintenance.
・High-Frequency Agile Delivery: Operating on a continuous CI/CD and Agile engineering foundation, enabling rapid, small-batch releases to ensure flexible and iterative product enhancements.
■Position Highlights
・Engineers engage in high-impact initiatives aligned with nationwide financial shifts from savings to investment, leveraging AI and cutting-edge technology to shape next-generation wealth management solutions.
・As a direct-to-consumer (B2C) service, candidate contributions yield tangible, highly visible results, incorporating authentic user feedback into product development.
・Involvement spans the full product lifecycle from strategy to implementation and deployment.
・Opportunities to build products alongside international team members foster cross-cultural perspectives and diverse problem-solving methodologies.
■Career Path
Upon joining, you will take ownership of product management within the investment information systems domain, driving service value creation and product strategy. Longer term, you will be expected to step into strategic leadership roles, such as overseeing large-scale engineering projects or leading the launch of new digital financial services.
