Security & AI Consultant

Job Description We are hiring a Secure AI Ranger in Japan to drive secure productivity through Microsoft solutions. This role bridges deep expertise in Microsoft Security (Defender & Purview) with Copilot for Microsoft 365 adoption. You will empower local partners, lead technical engagements, and accelerate secure AI implementation across SMB and mid-market customers. Key Responsibilities 1) Security depth and technical execution • Lead technical engagements and discussions on Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview, focusing on threat protection, data governance, and secure AI readiness. • Conduct workshops, demos, and proofs-of-concept (PoCs) to resolve technical challenges and demonstrate Microsoft security solutions. 2) Copilot for Microsoft 365 readiness and enablement • Deliver L100–200 sessions in Japanese on Copilot for Microsoft 365, demonstrating its business value and use cases. • Help partners and customers integrate Copilot with security, compliance, and data governance, positioning AI as part of a secure workspace. 3) Partner enablement and pre-sales support • Collaborate with Japanese distributors, SIers, and MSPs to enhance their technical capability and proposal readiness. • Provide technical guidance and pre-sales support, sharing repeatable assets to scale partner solutions. 4) Cross-team collaboration • Work closely with Microsoft sales and technical teams to guide projects smoothly from technical validation to deployment. • Share local market feedback to refine messaging and optimize the Secure AI initiative in Japan. Working Hours 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Job Requirements @Core Qualifications] Japanese: Native/Business level (JLPT N1 or equivalent with business experience in Japan) Experience: 3–6+ years in technical pre-sales, IT consulting, cloud/security engineering, or client-facing roles Skills: Practical experience or foundational knowledge in Microsoft Security (Defender, Purview, or M365 Security) Nice to Have English: Intermediate proficiency (business reading/conversation preferred) Microsoft Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Entra, or Intune Certifications: Microsoft Security, Compliance, or AI/Copilot certifications Other Benefits & Conditions Social Insurance Education/ Training Hybrid Work Style Five-Day Workweek Paid Holidays(10 days) Child-care Leave Sick Leave Job Contract Period: Full time
