Job Summary
This is a Security Engineer position based in Tokyo, Japan, managed by Daijob AGENT. Job Description
Upon joining the company, you will start with one of the following tasks, depending on your skills, and gradually move up to more upstream processes.
【Step 1: Foundation Building & Catch-up】
- Log monitoring and analysis at the Security Operations Center (SOC) (using SIEM products)
- Operation and management of security products (antivirus software, EDR, UTM, etc.)
- Initial investigation, ticket creation, and reporting upon detection of pattern file update alerts
【Step 2: Construction & Implementation (After Gaining Practical Experience)】
- Introduction of security products (EDR, WAF, IPS/IDS)
- Policy setting and tuning; periodic diagnostics and report creation using vulnerability assessment tools (Nessus, etc.); detailed investigation, impact identification, and recovery support in the event of an incident (part of CSIRT operations); support for conducting targeted email attack training
【Step 3: Design & Requirements Definition (Future Career)】
- Design and implementation plan formulation of zero-trust network architecture; support for formulation of company-wide security policies and guidelines; introduction and design of cloud security (CSPM/CWPP); support for security audit response and acquisition of ISMS and other certifications

Job Requirements

Experience in server infrastructure operation and maintenance or higher (number of years of practical experience is not specified)
[Preferred Qualifications]
- Vendor certifications such as LPIC/LinuC (Level 1-2) or MCP
- Linux (RHEL/CentOS-based) Basic command line skills
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, etc.)
- Interest in building servers on the cloud (EC2/Azure VM)
- Japanese Level Native Level
