Job Description:
An international consumer goods company is looking for a Demand Planner. The successful candidate will develop accurate demand forecasts, optimise inventory levels, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support effective demand and supply planning for product launches. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with relevant departments to maximise supply capacity while maintaining optimal inventory levels
- Generate 24-month demand forecasts for each SKU
- Identify and resolve demand and supply gaps in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Analyse sales trends and forecast accuracy to improve inventory optimisation
- Ensure timely demand and supply planning for product launches
- Manage post-launch demand and supply to maintain optimal inventory levels
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and support decision-making
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to interpret data and evaluate performance
- Knowledge of business operations and commercial drivers
- Strong project management skills
- Proficiency in relevant tools, systems, and technologies
- Professional level Japanese and English
