Operations Assistant

Main Tasks: - Support day to day operational tasks to keep the business running smoothly - Welcome customers and support campervan handovers and returns - Ensure campervans are prepared and ready for customers - Perform basic vehicle maintenance - Schedule vehicle maintenance, repairs and inspections - Contribute ideas to improve systems, workflows and customer experience Job Requirements: Required Skills/Experience: - Native level Japanese speaker - Advanced conversational-level English speaker - Valid driver's license - Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including hot summers, cold winters, and rainy days - Strong customer service and communication skills Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience in customer service, hospitality, or sales - Experience in the automotive industry - Experience working for a car rental company - Experience with vehicle maintenance or vehicle operations - Experience washing, cleaning, or preparing vehicles Ideal Candidate: - Willing to learn and develop new skills on the job - Proactive, adaptable, and able to handle changing priorities - Enjoys interacting with customers and delivering excellent service - Comfortable working in an outdoor environment as part of daily responsibilities Working Hours: - Normally around 8:30am to 5:30pm (Hours are flexible) Benefits: - No overtime expected - Annual bonus (amount based on performance) - Paid Leave of 12 days initially, with additional leave based on tenure up to 21 days - Transportation Allowance of 15,000 yen per month - Training Provided - Uniform Provided - Free Campervan use 5 days per year - Potential 4-day work week during the off season
