Job Summary
A global packaging machinery company is seeking a Finance Manager to lead finance operations, group reporting, and budgeting. The role involves supervising accounting staff and ensuring compliance with Japanese and Swiss GAAP. The position requires strong expertise in financial analysis, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration within a foreign-owned organization.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
* Manage accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, reconciliation, payments, taxes, and closing activities
* Supervise accounting staff and ensure accurate financial statements under Japanese GAAP and Swiss GAAP
* Prepare monthly finance reports and present key insights to local management
* Handle group reporting, data validation, consolidation uploads, and reconciliation with headquarters
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow planning, and working capital management
* Strengthen internal controls, support audits, improve finance processes, and coordinate legal matters when needed
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in finance and accounting
* 5-10 years of experience in an industrial company or distributor, preferably foreign-owned
* Experience in small/mid-sized foreign organizations
* Prior ERP and reporting tools experience
* Understanding of Japanese accounting and tax
* Native level Japanese; business level English
