Application Engineer

【Job Description】 Due to the small team size, you will be involved in a wide range of activities, from backend to frontend development, not just partial feature development. Depending on the scale of the development, you will work with multiple development engineers on various development projects, both in-house services and contract development. We are looking for someone who enjoys change and can drive development and operations, and who can accept diverse opinions and find the optimal solution. 【Career Path】 Depending on your experience and aspirations, you can pursue a variety of career paths, such as Engineering Manager or Tech Lead. 【After Joining】 - Onboarding Process: First, you will deepen your understanding of the product and the automotive sales industry through on-the-job training (OJT). Afterward, you will be responsible for development and coding in the application implementation process. - Follow-up System: We conduct regular meetings to provide opportunities to discuss work-related challenges and career goals. We have a flat organizational structure where work-related questions and challenges are discussed and resolved within the team. 【Working Hours】 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (8 hours of scheduled work/1 hour break) *Average monthly overtime: approximately 5 hours 【Job Requirements】 [Required Experience (MUST)] ・2+ years of practical experience in web application development (Includes experience in either front-end, back-end, or both) ・Experience in front-end development using HTML/CSS/JavaScript ・Basic understanding of back-end development, or learning/practical experience in back-end development (Java/PHP/Other web-related languages) [Preferred Experience (WANT)] ・Experience in web application development involving both front-end and back-end ・Experience in front-end development using Vue.js ・Experience in screen development using template engines such as Thymeleaf ・Experience in back-end development using Spring Boot ・Experience in web application development using Laravel/PHP ・Experience with modern front-end technologies such as React/TypeScript ・Experience in team development using Git/GitHub ・Experience in development using Microsoft SQL Server ・Experience in database design and construction 【Languages】 - Japanese Level: Business Level (JLPT Level 2 or N2)
