Business Development Manager

Job Description To grow our flagship product "Weave" that targeted at pilots, you will be responsible for everything from aviation industry's market analysis to strategy development and execution. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will collaborate closely with other departments (particularly Product Development) to lead the company’s non-linear growth. You will be entrusted with scaling the business from “1 to 10.” In the near term, the primary focus markets will be Asia and the Middle East. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Strategy & Planning ・Identify new business opportunities through market research and competitive analysis ・Develop and execute mid-to-long-term business strategies and plans ・Propose and evaluate new business initiatives and product features (feasibility studies) ・Define, monitor, and improve business KPIs to achieve targets ・Develop and implement pricing strategies 2. Growth of Existing Business ・Deepen relationships with existing clients to generate upsell and cross-sell opportunities ・Maximize customer success and satisfaction ・Create case studies and best practices to drive adoption and replication Working Hours Flexible working hours (60-minute break) Remote work: Hybrid Work Style ・Occasional remote work is possible depending on the situation ・Use of office space with focus booths is available if desired ・No specific dress code, but appropriate casual/business casual attire is required for external communications, including videoconference Job Requirements Required Qualifications Candidates should meet at least one of the following requirements: ・Experience in business development within the IT industry ・Experience as a consultant supporting or advising clients in business development ・Business-level English proficiency ・Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to act proactively Preferred Qualifications ・Enjoys meeting and speaking with new people ・Japanese proficiency is a plus ・Internal communication is conducted in both English and Japanese, with English being the primary language in open channels and meetings Salary & Benefits Annual salary: ¥6,000,000 - ¥8,000,000 Social insurance: Employees' pension, workers' compensation insurance, unemployment insurance, health insurance Commuting allowance: Available Job Contract Period Full-time employee 3-month probationary period
