Vietnamese-speaking Bridge Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Vietnamese-speaking Bridge Engineer to facilitate communication between Japanese and Vietnamese teams. The role involves managing project progress, ensuring software quality, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers. Successful candidates will bridge language and cultural gaps while driving development standards in an offshore environment.

Required Skills
- JLPT N1 Japanese and Native Vietnamese
- 5+ years of JAVA development experience
- Experience with Java frameworks (Spring, MyBatis, Hibernate)
- Previous experience as a BrSE or Project Manager
Job Details
[Job Description]
1. Bridging duties between Japan and Vietnam (mainly practical)
• Informing the Vietnamese development team of Japanese requirements and design details
• Reconciling discrepancies in requirements understanding and design intent
• Daily communication in Japanese and Vietnamese
2. Project Progress and Quality Management
• Project progress, issues, and risk management for assigned projects
• Deliverable review (design documents, source code, test results, etc.)
• Early detection and corrective action for quality issues
3. On-site management of the Vietnamese development team
• Instructions and follow-up for Vietnamese members
• Coordination of work content, effort, and schedule
• Training and guidance for junior engineers and BrSEs
4. Coordination within the Japanese headquarters
• Status reports to Japanese PMs/management staff
• Identifying and proposing issues and improvements
• Supporting decision-making by department heads/senior managers
[Application Requirements]
- Japanese: JLPT N1 or equivalent
- Vietnamese: Native level
- IT Development/IT Consultant experience: 5+ years
- JAVA development experience: 5+ years
- Familiarity with common Java frameworks such as Spring, MyBatis, and Hibernate
- Understanding of the entire software development process (design, testing, and release)
- Basic knowledge of the Japanese software industry and corporate culture
- Experience as a bridge system engineer, project manager, or sub-PM
- Experience creating requirements definitions and basic designs
- Proven track record of quality improvement and process improvement
