Printing Machine Service Engineer

Job Description: You will be part of the Sales Department (MP2 Division) and will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and technical support of industrial digital printing machines manufactured by overseas companies. Our clients are mainly major printing companies and manufacturing companies. Main duties: • Installation, commissioning, and adjustment of newly introduced machines • Collaboration with overseas manufacturer engineers • Diagnosis, root cause analysis, and repair of machine problems • Investigation of hardware and software malfunctions • Proposal of preventive maintenance and improvements to customers • Review of technical documents and acquisition of technical knowledge • Technical coordination with overseas manufacturers and the German headquarters (primarily via email) • Technical support and inquiry handling for customers Products handled: • Digital inkjet printers • Flexographic printers • Security printing-related equipment • Peripherals, consumables, and replacement parts Domestic business trips required: • Day trips to a maximum of 2 weeks • Several times per month Working Hours: • 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (7.5 hours of actual work) • Flexible working hours available • Work from home available (up to 6 days per month) Job Requirements: Required Qualifications: • Japanese at N1 level or higher (ability to communicate technically with customers) • 3+ years of experience as a field service engineer • Experience in maintenance of industrial machinery, machine tools, and manufacturing equipment • Basic IT knowledge (hardware, software, network) • Valid driver's license • High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: • Experience servicing digital printing machines • Ability to read electrical circuit diagrams • Knowledge of PLCs and industrial networks • Experience handling emails in English • Major in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
