Job Summary

As a Server Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of Linux/Windows servers. You will gradually progress from routine support tasks to server construction and complex architecture design. Job Details

■Job Description Upon joining the company, you will start with one of the following tasks, depending on your skills, and gradually move up to more upstream processes. 【Step 1: Foundation Building & Catch-up】 - Operation, maintenance, and monitoring of Linux/Windows servers (Zabbix/Datadog, etc.) - User account management, patch application, and backup support - Log investigation, initial troubleshooting, and recovery support in case of failures 【Step 2: Construction & Implementation (After Gaining Practical Experience)】 - OS installation (RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows Server), kitting - Introduction and configuration of middleware (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) - Automation of routine tasks using shell scripts (Bash) and PowerShell - Server construction on virtualization environments (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) 【Step 3: Design & Requirements Definition (Future Career)】 - Planning migrations associated with server replacement (upgrade) (P2V/V2V/V2C) - Design of server redundancy configurations (clustering) considering availability and reliability - Design and policy formulation for enhanced security (Hardening) - Promotion of configuration management as code (IaC) using Ansible, etc. ■Working Hours 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Working hours may vary depending on the client's working hours.) ■Job Requirements Required: - Experience in server infrastructure operation and maintenance or higher - Years of practical experience are not required Preferred: - Vendor certifications such as LPIC / LinuC (Level 1-2) or MCP - Basic command-line skills in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) - Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, etc.) - Interest in building servers on the cloud (EC2/Azure VM) ■Language Requirements - English: None - Japanese: Business Level (JLPT Level 2 or N2) ■Benefits - Comprehensive social insurance coverage - Defined contribution pension plan - Health checkups - Work-from-home system - Learning support/training program - Five-Day Workweek, Paid Holidays, Congratulatory or Condolence Leave ■Job Contract Period Full-time employee
