Embedded Systems Engineer

### Job Description We develop embedded software for microcontrollers necessary for the operation of medical devices, etc. Responsibilities include meetings, specification determination, document creation (specifications, procedures, etc.), basic design, detailed design, application development, and testing. ### Job Summary You will be responsible for software design for optical equipment developed on a contract basis and software development for medical devices developed in-house. You will be involved from requirements definition and customize the operation of the machines according to customer requests, including debugging. ### Product Examples We handle general industrial equipment such as optical equipment, and our own high-temperature observation equipment/medical equipment. Specifically, medical equipment (mainly) such as blood flow measurement devices and arteriosclerosis measurement devices, and industrial equipment such as high-temperature observation equipment. ### Organizational Structure Design Department in Hachioji consists of 10 engineers in a flat and open communication environment. ### Working Hours 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM (Lunch break: 12:15 PM - 1:00 PM; Afternoon break: 3:00 PM - 3:15 PM) ### Job Requirements - Experience in embedded software development - Experience developing using C language - 10+ years of work experience - Japanese Level: Fluent (JLPT Level 1 or N1) ### Preferred Requirements - English proficiency - Familiarity with AWS ### Salary & Benefits - Salary increase: once a year - Bonus: four times a year - Allowances: Commuting allowance, Community support (housing) allowance - Benefits: Health insurance, Employees' pension insurance, Employment insurance, Workers' compensation insurance, Retirement benefits (after three years), Employee savings plan, Workplace NISA savings plan ### Employment Conditions - Full-time - Probationary Period: 3 months
