Overseas Sales Specialist

Job Description: Want to work internationally while based in Japan? Leverage your English skills and have the opportunity to create your own products! In our connector business, which accounts for approximately half of our sales, you will support our overseas sales bases. You will be responsible for sales activities and internal project management of automotive connectors to Japanese automotive industry customers, primarily based in the eastern United States and Southeast Asia. Occasionally, you will be involved in local sales, visiting customers with FAE and marketing personnel, and leading new product development with the technical and production departments. You will have the opportunity to utilize your English skills daily as you will be conducting specification-in activities for overseas markets. ■Specific Job Responsibilities - Overseas order acquisition activities and internal project management - Deeply understand the account strategy, tactics, business model, and supply chain of the assigned account - Participate in account strategy development - Visit customers as needed with local sales, FAE, marketing, and QA * Business trips: Possibility of overseas business trips once every 1-2 months (main destinations are the East Coast US or Southeast Asia) 【Assigned Department】 Department as a whole: Approximately 30 people. Members range in age from their 20s to their 60s. Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:45 PM Job Requirements: ■MUST QUALIFICATIONS ・Interest in the manufacturing industry, including manufacturing equipment ・Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC test score of 800 or higher) ・Japanese language proficiency (N1 or equivalent for foreign nationals) ・Ability to communicate with other departments and customers (including overseas) ■WANT QUALIFICATIONS ・Experience in corporate sales of manufacturing equipment or automated machinery at a manufacturer or trading company ・Semiconductor industry preferred ■Desired Profile ・Intellectually curious and eager to learn. Even if you have no industry experience, you can actively learn specialized product knowledge and technology. ・Logical thinking: Able to accurately understand customer technical needs and communicate them clearly. ・Ability to respond with integrity: Able to work with customers and internal colleagues with integrity, building relationships of trust. ・Value teamwork: Able to work with the entire team, including the technical and manufacturing departments.
