Job Details
■ Project Management Responsibilities
- Acting as a bridge between teams across departments to ensure the smooth progress of projects. As a development PM, you will be responsible for overall product development progress management, requirements definition, and specification coordination with sales and manufacturing.
- Coordinating specifications and fleshing out requirements between departments: Organizing customer requests from sales and improvement requests from manufacturing sites and converting them into technical specifications that engineers can implement; presenting alternatives for difficult-to-implement requests and leading consensus building; coordinating specifications and defining requirements to prevent rework.
- Establishing a development schedule and managing progress: Clarifying implementation features and priorities; reallocating resources and adjusting specifications to restructure plans in the event of delays; managing project risks.
- Organizing technical direction and supporting decision-making: Promoting consensus on design policies in areas where hardware and software intersect (mechanical design, embedded systems, robot control, web development); determining the balance between eliminating technical debt and developing new features; facilitating technical discussions.
■ Job Requirements
[MUST]
- Project management experience as a project manager or tech lead.
- Experience negotiating and coordinating with business and manufacturing teams.
- Fundamental knowledge of both hardware (mechanical design, embedded systems, etc.) and software (robot control, web development, etc.) with an understanding of architecture and control constraints.
[WANT]
- Practical experience developing systems involving hardware control (sensors, actuators, communication control, etc.).
- Development experience in modern C++, Python, front-end languages, etc.
- Team development experience using Git or a similar VCS.
- Development and operation experience in a Linux environment.
- Management experience in the startup or new business launch phase.
- Development experience in events such as Robocon and RoboCup.
