Job Details
Job Description
The company is currently advancing an initiative to expand unique machinery and control technologies owned by Chinese partner companies into the Japanese and global markets. However, electrical control and design approaches in China follow a distinct philosophy. Within the company, an in-depth understanding of these concepts remains insufficient, posing challenges to optimizing equipment utilization and expanding sales. In this position, the company is seeking an engineer who can master and absorb these philosophical differences in design, serving as a key technical bridge between internal teams and external partners from an electrical control perspective.
【Responsibilities】
■ Overseas Training (Guangzhou, China)
・Practical learning of electrical control systems and equipment architecture at the Chinese partner company
・Deepening understanding of electrical circuit design, wiring principles, and PLC control philosophies
・Mastering overall equipment configurations and control logic flows (Training Structure: Approximately 1 month per session, up to 3 times, totaling up to 6 months)
(Note: During return periods to Japan, responsibilities include acquiring foundational knowledge of the company's crimping machines and supporting current engineering staff.)
■ Post-Return Responsibilities in Japan
・Technical translation and bridging between domestic Japanese clients and Chinese partner companies
・Creation and improvement of wiring diagrams and electrical circuit designs using CAD
・Modification and optimization of PLC control programs (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, etc.)
・Pre-shipment equipment testing, adjustment, and troubleshooting
・Proposing engineering improvements based on an understanding of Chinese control philosophies and design methods
■ Future Responsibilities
・Designing and developing machinery control systems in Japan that integrate Chinese design philosophies
・Disseminating technical knowledge and best practices across the internal organization
・Serving as a core technical liaison driving cross-border engineering collaboration between Japan and China
【Position Highlights】
■ Gaining Fundamental Skills Beyond Basic Design
By going beyond conventional wiring design and PLC control to master varying cross-border design philosophies, engineers can build deep, highly adaptable core engineering capabilities.
■ Hands-On Overseas Training
Through extended training in Guangzhou, China, engineers can absorb real-world technical expertise and design methodologies that cannot be learned solely from manuals or textbooks.
■ Core Driver of Global Business Expansion
As a key technical figure bridging Chinese products to Japanese and global markets, the role directly drives business growth through engineering expertise.
■ Value Creation Through Integrated Technologies
Involvement in product development that synthesizes the unique strengths of both Japan and China provides opportunities to build highly advanced, competitive machinery.
【Important Notes】
・As noted above, this role involves overseas training (business trips) at a partner company in China to acquire specialized technical expertise.
・The training is scheduled to take place in Guangzhou, China, consisting of multiple stays of approximately 1 month each (up to a cumulative total of roughly 3 months).
・Following the completion of the training period, business trips to China or within Japan may occur approximately 4 times per year depending on business needs.
・Travel and accommodation expenses for business travel will be fully covered by the company, along with a designated business trip allowance.
