We are seeking a Backend Platform Engineer to build a robust foundation for a Japanese dating app using Go, TypeScript, or Python. The role focuses on designing scalable infrastructure, microservices, and implementing systems to keep users safe. Candidates must have commercial software experience and be willing to work in a hybrid setting in Tokyo.

Job Requirements [Essential Qualifications] - Over 3 years of experience operating and releasing commercial software. - Built professionally using Go/Golang, Python, or TypeScript - Implemented and designed scalable infrastructure running on AWS or GCP - Japanese: Business Level - English: Conversational - Must have experience with Go/Golang or willing to learn after joining. [Preferred] - Strong understanding of development efficiency, performance, and security. - Experience building and designing testing methods - Used Coding Agents to ship real code. - Built infrastructure for products handling large-scale data access. - Understanding of user behavior and risk patterns. - Built and deployed applications in a container environment (Docker, Kubernetes)
