Production Team Lead

Job Description A global medical technology company is looking for a Production Team Lead. The selected candidate will lead production operations, drive continuous improvement, ensure quality and safety compliance, and develop high-performing teams to achieve operational targets. Responsibilities: * Lead and manage daily production operations to ensure efficiency and productivity * Execute production plans and achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets * Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies * Ensure compliance with quality management standards, including ISO 13485 * Maintain a safe and compliant production environment * Develop team members through coaching, training, and performance management * Oversee production equipment maintenance and troubleshooting activities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve performance * Analyse production data and monitor key performance indicators * Facilitate team meetings to support communication and problem resolution * Communicate effectively with global teams in English Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related field) * More than 5 years of experience in manufacturing * More than 3 years in a team leader or supervisory role * Experience in shop floor management, including production control, workforce allocation, and productivity improvement * Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies * Understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 13485 * Knowledge of labour management and team leadership * Proficiency in MS Office Suite * Business level Japanese and English Preferred requirements: * Experience in medical device manufacturing * Experience with Value Stream Mapping and Kanban implementation * Experience working with multinational teams or global projects * Possess a valid Six Sigma Green Belt certification or above
