Job Details

【Role Purpose】 This position involves taking on the role of Functional Lead in Salesforce-based business systems. This role requires structurally understanding business requirements, translating them into system requirements, and making design, modification, and maintenance decisions based on Salesforce standards. The role ensures the quality of requirements, design direction, and maintenance decisions, leading design decisions from both the business and the IT Development Department (ITD). 【Position Summary】 This role's primary responsibility is to treat business requests, maintenance, and incident responses not merely as requests or events, but as business processes, data structures, and system behaviors, leading to calm and sustainable decision-making. By proactively learning Salesforce technologies and other necessary business technologies, and conducting hands-on verification, the role ensures realistic decision-making that goes beyond theoretical considerations. 【Key Responsibilities】 ◇Business Analysis & Requirements Definition • Organize the background and objectives of business requests and clarify the true business challenges. • Visualize business processes using business flow diagrams, process diagrams, ER diagrams, etc. • Define business requests as logical and reusable system requirements. • Clarify prerequisites and scope to avoid misunderstandings among stakeholders. ◇Design Decision-Making & Standardization • Prioritize design aligned with Salesforce standards rather than implementing requests directly. • Make decisions based on a balance between short-term response and medium- to long-term maintainability and scalability. • Explain design trade-offs clearly to the business. ◇Role as Front Office Functional Lead • Lead the functional aspects of Salesforce modifications and improvements. • Collaborate with ITD, business, and vendors in requirements definition, UAT, and release preparation. • Review vendor designs and proposals from a functional and structural perspective. • Confirm functional consistency, existing impact, and future scalability. ◇Operational Support & Incident Handling • When a problem or inquiry occurs, prioritize informing relevant parties while simultaneously verifying data status, reproducibility, and logs. • Organize the situation based on facts, not on feelings or hearsay. • Consider the feasibility of alternative measures (e.g., temporary return to standard operations). • Make decisions based on business impact and priority rather than immediate fixes. ◇Hands-on Learning & Validation • Learn necessary technologies such as Salesforce. • Assess feasibility through configuration checks and simple verifications. 【Job Requirements】 [Required Qualifications] • Experience leading the requirements definition and design phases in a project. • Practical experience in operation and maintenance of business systems. • Japanese: Native level required. • English: Reading and writing required. • Willingness to use English and a commitment to continuously improving language skills. [Preferred Skills] • Understanding of Salesforce standard functions, settings, and data models. • Project management experience. • Experience collaborating in a global company or multinational environment. • Experience in business analysis as a Business Analyst, independent of specific platforms.
