Global Development Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking development engineers for our rapidly expanding integrated software test management tool, CAT, which supports 40,000 users. This role involves working within a global system collaborating with a Vietnam-based development team. You will handle project management, system design, development, and operational maintenance for this core enterprise-grade SaaS product.
Responsibilities
- Project management and sprint support for Vietnam team
- System architecture design and infrastructure implementation

Required Skills
- 3+ years web application development
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS/Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience leading development teams
- English (Daily) & Japanese (Business level)
Job Details
### Job Responsibilities
- **Project Management**: Sprint development support and reviews for the Vietnam development team, including backlog detailing, sprint backlog adjustment, Q&A, and acceptance testing.
- **Design and Development**: Function design and development, including architecture and infrastructure.
- **Operation and Maintenance**: Release work, incident response, monitoring, and IaC implementation.
- **Development**: Implementation and code reviews.
### Development Style
- Development follows a 2-week sprint Scrum method with releases every 2-3 months.
- Product Owner leads backlog prioritization.
- Japanese team members design specifications, architecture, and infrastructure.
- Vietnamese team members handle primary implementation and testing.
### Technical Environment
- **Technical Stack A**: Tomcat, Redis, Spring Boot, Java, ExtJS, MySQL
- **Technical Stack B**: Quarkus, Kotlin, React, TypeScript, Next.js, MySQL
- **Infrastructure**: Terraform, Ansible, Docker, EKS, EC2, Python, Datadog
### Working Hours
- 9:00 AM - 6:15 PM (8 hours of actual work)
- Average overtime: ~7.5 hours per month
### Required Skills and Experience
- Web application development experience (3 years or more)
- Architecture and database design experience
- Experience leading a development team
- Experience building cloud infrastructure
### Preferred Conditions
- Experience in development planning and operation of in-house or enterprise-grade SaaS systems
- Experience in operation, implementation, and support of enterprise-oriented services
