Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

■ Job Description You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to infrastructure design, construction, and operation using public clouds, including Google Cloud. Upon joining the company, you will start with training tailored to your skills and experience. You will learn practical skills ranging from infrastructure fundamentals to the use of modern configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible. In the future, we expect you to grow into someone who can lead projects end-to-end, from requirements definition to design, construction, and subsequent improvement proposals, while directly communicating with customers. ■ Onboarding Process 【STEP 1】Initial Training (1 month) • Training on common tools used within the company, such as Terraform, Ansible, and Consul. • Training for those new to Google Cloud and server construction exercises for those with a development background are also available. 【STEP 2】Project Assignment (~6 months) • Under the support of a project leader, you will start with operations for existing customers. 【STEP 3】Communication with Clients (6 months~) • You will participate in meetings with clients and advance projects while communicating directly with them. ■ Project Examples 【Large-Scale Game Infrastructure】 * Backend for a globally popular mobile game featuring iconic characters, played by 2 million people daily * Infrastructure design, construction, and operation for console, PC, and smartphone games 【High-Traffic Web Services】 * Web media for a global fashion magazine * Large-scale e-commerce site handling millions of products * Infrastructure for advanced security services, including protection against unauthorized website logins 【Technology Exploration & R&D】 * Google Cloud: Proactively researching, testing, and proposing the introduction of new features and the latest products from partner companies. ■ Job Requirements 【Required Qualifications】 Approximately two years of work experience as an IT engineer, and experience in one of the following areas: • For those with infrastructure experience: Practical experience in infrastructure design, construction, or operation; Experience using Shell Scripts (On-premises experience is welcomed). • For those with development experience: Experience developing web applications using languages such as Java, C++, C#, Python, and Go. 【Preferred Qualifications】 • Experience using Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure • Experience using web servers (Apache, Nginx, etc.) and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) • Experience using major cloud services (load balancers, processing systems, storage, RDBs) • Experience in server-side development of web applications • Experience in operational design and operational improvement ■ Working Conditions • Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM • Average overtime: 20 hours or less • Hybrid work arrangements possible • Japanese Level: Business Level (JLPT Level 2 or N2)
