Job Summary
The Senior FullStack Engineer or DevOps Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust web applications. Responsibilities include the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and system design to deployment and enhancement. The role focuses on JavaScript/TypeScript environments while integrating advanced DevOps practices within an insurance technology context.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product owners, business analysts, UI/UX designers, and other developers to build web applications.
- Handle all steps of software development: requirement analysis, system design, coding, testing, deployment, release, and maintenance/enhancement.
- Implement clean and responsive user interfaces using HTML/CSS.
- Design and develop back-end services using Node.js and frameworks such as Express or Fastify.
- Manage RESTful API design and Swagger/Open API specifications.
- Maintain and optimize relational databases (MySQL), including schema design, querying, and indexing.

Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in web application development using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proficiency in business English (TOEIC 785 or higher) and business Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher).
- Experience in front-end development using React.js/Next.js and back-end development using Node.js.
- Strong DevOps skills with 3+ years working in AWS, OpenShift, CI/CD, and monitoring tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively using Git and Agile/Scrum methodology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Java/SpringBoot.
- Understanding of NoSQL databases (DocumentDB, Redis).
- Experience with serverless architecture and service-oriented/micro-service architecture.
- Ability to coach and mentor other software engineers.
