Job Summary
The Bar Hostess ensures efficient seating, manages reservations, and coordinates with bar staff to provide exceptional guest experiences. The position involves supporting the service team, managing guest waiting lists, and ensuring the ambiance of the bar area is maintained.

Job Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly.
- Escort guests to their seats and present menus.
- Manage guest reservations and waiting lists efficiently.
- Ensure guests are comfortable and attended to while waiting.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Monitor cleanliness and ambiance of the bar area, adjusting lighting, music, or seating as needed.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Promote daily specials or featured drinks as directed.
- Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor at all times.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Support the overall service team during busy periods (e.g., helping with clearing or resetting tables).
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred.
- Pleasant personality and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Groomed appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- English Level: Business Conversation Level (TOEIC 735-860).
- Japanese Level: Business Level (JLPT Level 2 or N2).
- Must have Japan work permit.
