Medical Equipment Design Engineer
Job Summary
You will be responsible for designing medical steel instruments, including product improvements and custom-made designs. The role requires engineering knowledge and the ability to utilize English for international business trips. You will work closely with the production department to translate design concepts into tangible medical products.
Responsibilities
- Design and improve medical steel instruments
- Select manufacturing methods for production lines
- Provide support for custom-made product requests
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers in Pakistan

- Metal processing or mold making experience
Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Product design and improvement.
- Consideration and selection of manufacturing methods for the production line.
- Support for custom-made products.
- Business trips to Pakistan (2-3 times a year for 1-2 weeks) to negotiate with local suppliers regarding quality and delivery dates.
Work Environment:
- Work with the Planning and Development Department and Production Department.
- Equipment available: NC lathe, vacuum hardening furnace, wire-cut EDM machine, machining center, laser engraving machine, etc.
Requirements:
- Engineering knowledge and experience.
- Passion for manufacturing.
- English skills (Daily Conversation Level: TOEIC 475-730).
- Japanese Level: Business Level (JLPT N2).
- CAD experience is highly valued.
Good to have:
- Design experience.
- Metal processing or mold making experience.
Working Hours:
- 8:30-17:00 (7 hours 30 minutes).
- Average overtime: 10-15 hours/month.
