Bilingual QA Lead

[Main Responsibilities] This position is a QA Lead role that will drive overall product quality from a technical perspective, focusing on test automation and AI utilization. You will collaborate with the QA Manager, who is responsible for people management, to lead everything from designing and implementing automation strategies to integrating tests into CI/CD. You will also act as a technical hub (UK-Japan bridge) for a multinational QA team, including Japan and India, driving overall quality improvement. The QA Manager is expected to handle "people and organization," while this position will handle "technology, automation, and global collaboration." 1. Design and Promotion of Test Automation - Design and implementation of E2E automated tests using Playwright / Cypress / CodeceptJS, etc. - Selection, development, and standardization of test automation frameworks - Test integration into CI/CD (GitHub Actions) and improvement of the execution platform - Inventory of manual testing areas and prioritization of automation targets 2. Quality and Productivity Improvement through AI Utilization - Verification and introduction of AI-powered test generation, test case design, and defect analysis - Integration of AI tools/coding agents into the QA process 3. Global QA Technical Collaboration (Japan-UK Bridge) - Unification of test design and automation policies across Japan and India - Bridging as a hub for technical communication between locations (Japanese and English) - Establishment of knowledge sharing and review systems across locations 4. Leading Quality Improvement - Providing technical assistance, reviews, and training support to QA members - Visualizing and proposing improvements to quality issues across products [Organizational Structure] You will be assigned to the Innovation & Engineering Division, JPN-QA Team. This is a lead position directly under the QA Manager, responsible for automation and global technology collaboration. You will build a global quality system in collaboration with the IND-QA team in India. (JPN-QA team: 8 members, IND-QA team: 7 members) *The team consists of multinational members, and both Japanese and English are used daily.
