Software Development Engineer
Job Summary
This role offers an opportunity for software engineering beginners to start their career in R&D projects for major manufacturers. The position includes comprehensive in-house training at a learning center before project assignment. You will be part of a Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime listed company with 126 annual leave days.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software for next-generation products
- Develop autonomous driving and safe driving systems
- Create control software for robotics and semiconductor equipment
- Develop EV battery and motor control systems
Required Skills
- Academic background in IT, Engineering, Math, or Physics
- Fluent Japanese (JLPT N1)
- Interest in R&D and upstream design
- 1+ year of experience (for experienced applicants)

■Project Examples:
- R&D for autonomous driving (Level IV/V) and safe driving assistance systems
- Control software development for robots and semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Control development for high-voltage batteries and motors for electric vehicles (EVs)
- Apps and web systems development for information and communications devices
■Training system for novices:
At our in-house learning center, you'll receive practical training (basic and customized) combining classroom learning and hands-on training. You'll be assigned to your position after you've fully developed your academic knowledge into practical skills.
■Job Requirements:
- Education: College, university, or graduate school graduate.
- Department (for those with no experience): Information, control, electrical and electronics, mathematics, or physics.
- Experience (for those with experience): 1+ years of experience in software development (upstream processes, including programming).
- Desired Profile: Software engineer with a desire to develop expertise and take on a challenging, cutting-edge field.
- Japanese Level: Fluent (JLPT Level 1 or N1).
■Salary and Benefits:
- Estimated Annual Salary: ¥4,000,000 - ¥5,200,000.
- University/Technical College Graduate: Monthly salary of ¥242,700 or more + overtime pay + bonus.
- Master's degree: Monthly salary of ¥255,700 or more + overtime pay + bonus.
- Housing allowance (up to ¥55,000 per month), work qualification allowance, family allowance, dormitory system, retirement plan, employee savings account, employee stock ownership plan.
