Job Summary
As a Backend Lead Engineer, you will drive the development of the 'Money Forward Business Card' platform, focusing on high-level architecture and feature implementation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stable, high-quality scaling of cashless payment solutions. The role involves hands-on coding, code reviews, and mentoring team members to promote engineering excellence.

Job Details
### Main Responsibilities
• Development of products and features using Ruby.
• Understanding business requirements and designing high-level architecture (overall system structure).
• Defining system requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements.
• Implementing and testing code.
• Conducting code reviews.
• Educating and training team members through hands-on coding and other methods.
• Collaborating with team members, engineering managers (EMs), product managers (PdMs), and other stakeholders.
• Promoting the globalization of the team.
### Required Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Practical development experience using Ruby on Rails.
• Deep understanding of web service development.
• Proven track record of developing high-quality software products and releasing production-ready software.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Ability to work as a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• AI development or development using AI tools.
### Desirable Skills
• AI development experience or development experience using AI tools.
### Language Skills
• English: Business English proficiency (equivalent to TOEIC 700 or higher).
• Japanese: Conversational level (equivalent to JLPT N2 or higher).
### Technical Environment
• Backend: Ruby on Rails, Golang, Node.js, GraphQL.
• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Next.js, Redux, Apollo Client, Jest.
• Database: MySQL (Aurora).
• Infrastructure/Tools: GitHub, CircleCI, Docker, Terraform, Datadog.
### Working Conditions
• Work Style: Hybrid (Office attendance at least 2 days a week).
• Working Hours: Discretionary Work System (Standard 9:30 - 18:30).
• Salary: Annual Salary ¥6,408,000 - ¥11,004,000 (Includes fixed allowances for 45 hours of overtime).
