Web Application Engineer

[Specific Duties] You will be responsible for development work to enhance the value of our products. While your area of responsibility will vary depending on the product and role, your main duties will be as follows: - Design and development of web applications (front-end/back-end) - Feature development that utilizes data and logic in conjunction with external services and data infrastructure - Requirements organization and technical considerations for new features - Improvement of existing features, performance optimization, and operation for stable operation - Removal of technical debt and improvement of development processes - Consideration and implementation of improvement measures based on usage and user behavior - Collaboration with product managers, design teams, and related development teams - Participation in sprint management (planning, retrospectives, refinement) [Development environment, tools used, etc.] - Server-side: Kotlin / Go / TypeScript / Ruby / Java / C#, Spring Boot / Ktor / Node.js / Ruby on Rails - Front-end: TypeScript, React / Next.js / Vue, Storybook / Vite / Tailwind CSS - Database / Search & Analytics: PostgreSQL / MySQL / Aurora, DynamoDB / BigQuery / Cloud SQL / Cloud Spanner, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch / Redshift - Infrastructure / Platform: AWS (ECS/Fargate, Lambda, SQS, etc.), GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, etc.), Cloudflare - IaC / CI / Operation & Monitoring: Terraform / CDK, GitHub Actions / Cloud Build / CircleCI, Datadog / Sentry / Grafana - Collaboration: GitHub, Slack / Notion / Figma / Opsgenie [Required Qualifications] - Web application development and operation experience (approximately 3 years or more) - Practical experience in server-side/backend development - Development experience using statically typed languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, C#, Go, TypeScript, etc.) - Experience developing applications using various cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) - Development experience or development lead experience in small to medium-sized teams - Experience with team development using GitHub [Qualifications (Preferred)] - Experience launching new products and technology selection/design - Development experience in multiple areas, including front-end/back-end/infrastructure - Experience operating large-scale services, improving performance, and developing data infrastructure - Experience supporting a team as a tech lead or development leader [Working Conditions] - Flexible working hours (Core hours: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM) - Annual salary: ¥7.2 million - ¥18.5 million - Full-time employee trial period (6 months)
