Development Engineer
Job Summary
We are recruiting development engineers to support the "CAT" integrated software test management tool. The role involves project management, technical design, and maintenance while collaborating with our offshore development team in Vietnam. Successful candidates will manage the full development lifecycle, from architecture design to operational support using modern cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage sprint backlogs and project coordination
- Design and develop application features and infrastructure
- Monitor systems and execute release operations
- Collaborate with international teams via English communication
Required Skills
- 1+ year web development experience
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS/EKS/Terraform)
- Java/Spring Boot or Kotlin/React stack
- Business Japanese and conversational English

### Development Style
Development is carried out using a 2-week sprint Scrum method, with releases every 2-3 months.
1) The Product Owner takes the lead in creating and prioritizing the backlog in consultation with the development team.
2) Japanese development team members design the specifications, architecture, and infrastructure, and refine the backlog.
3) The Vietnamese development team implements and tests each item in the backlog.

- Technical Stack A: Tomcat, Redis, Spring Boot, Java, ExtJS, MySQL
- Technical Stack B: Quarkus, Kotlin, React, TypeScript, Next.js, MySQL
- Infrastructure: Terraform, Ansible, Docker, EKS, EC2, Python, Datadog
### Job Requirements
- Web application development experience (1 year or more)
- Cloud infrastructure construction experience
### Preferred Qualifications
- Architecture and database design experience
- Development planning and operation experience for in-house and business systems
- Development planning and operation experience for enterprise SaaS services
- Operation, implementation, and support experience for enterprise services
### Language Skills
- English: Daily Conversation Level (TOEIC 475-730)
- Japanese: Business Level (JLPT Level 2 or N2)
