AI Data Engineer

■ Job Description: This position is responsible for promoting DX (Digital Transformation) through the use of AI and data to enhance control and create new added value in Kubota Group's environmental plant business, including wastewater treatment plants. Using data analysis platforms such as Python and Databricks, you will analyze and evaluate plant operation data, develop operation control algorithms using AI, and drive the process from PoC (Proof of Concept) to system implementation with a view to actual operation. This role goes beyond simple data visualization and monitoring, playing a central role in data utilization systems that lead to the optimization and enhancement of operations and the creation of new added value. ■ Work Style: 125 days of annual leave, weekends and national holidays off, remote work is possible, but it is expected that you will come to the office once a week upon consultation. Some tasks require coming to the office. Individual consultations are possible for those who wish to work outside the Tokyo metropolitan area or who prefer to work entirely remotely. ■ Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:15 PM (Scheduled working hours: 8 hours) Break time: 45 minutes (12:00 PM - 12:45 PM) Overtime work: Yes (Minimal outside of peak seasons, flexible hours implemented). ■ Job Requirements: [Required Conditions] * Practical experience in data analysis and machine learning using Python (2 years or more) * Experience in analyzing plant/manufacturing data * Experience in analysis and implementation using data utilization platforms (Databricks, cloud, etc.) or PoC/system implementation.
